Meet Coach Eric
Eric Poppelman is the founder of Coach Eric 365™, creator of CE Performance™, and founder of Surface Beach Volleyball Club.
With nearly three decades of coaching experience across high school, club, collegiate, and beach volleyball, Eric has coached and worked with athletes in NCAA Division I, Division III, NAIA, high school, club, and beach volleyball environments.
Over the years, Eric developed a coaching philosophy centered around intentional growth, communication, self-awareness, leadership, and long-term athlete development.
His work focuses on helping athletes learn how to:
- compete with confidence
- communicate under pressure
- respond to adversity
- build healthy habits
- recover intentionally
- and take ownership of their development journey.
Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, the program focuses on thoughtful guidance, collaboration, and helping athletes and families better understand what support systems, habits, and adjustments may help them most throughout different stages of development.
This philosophy is also reflected through Surface Beach Volleyball Club, where athletes are encouraged to grow not only as volleyball players, but as confident, resilient, and intentional young people both on and off the court.
